Well son of a gun, I was driving to work this morning and I got a flat tire. I looked in the back for my jack. Guess what; I don’t have it (slap to the forehead). Yesterday I took it out to use on the wife’s jeep. She had some brake pads starting to grind so I figured i would use my floor jack to lift her car. I keep it in my Isuzu since it didn’t come with the original jack when I bought it. I figured it would work better than the little jack that came with her jeep. After using it dumb me rolled it to the porch and never put it back where it belongs; with me…in my ride… So from my phone I’m typing away as we speak, while sitting here waiting for a frustrated wife to bring me my floor jack. A great start to a beautiful Friday. I’m not going to let it get me down though, its Friday!

This little unfortunate experience came with a lesson to be learned. Every time you start the car, know a flat tire could happen at any time. Keep in your car all necessary items such as a JACK for one, a lug wrench and even a change of clothes. Whether you get a flat on the way to work or spill coffee all over yourself on the way to an interview, you’re covered.

Insure yourself from wasted time, and frustrated family members, is within your control. Live your life prepared for what may happen. While insurance is the best way to protect yourself from large financial losses, a little preparation can go a long way to help you get through the miner issues life may throw at you; such as a flat tire. You ultimately have the ability to reduce most of the risks you will find in life.

Some drivers at some point decide not to provide accurate driving history information when applying for auto insurance quotes. This can eventually cause major issues in the event of an incident. Although most insurance companies track claims though a National database (the CLUE Report), if one claim slips through the cracks, it can come back to haunt you. If you find yourself needing to file a new claim and the ones you chose not to mention are found, they may deny your new claim, back charge you for a higher insurance or they may just cancel your policy.
Honesty will always work out better for you in the end. No driver want’s to experience a major loss due to the fact they failed to mention a couple tickets on their driving record. This also goes for pre-existing health conditions and health insurance. All insured history information and details are pretty easy to come by for insurance carriers. Honest and accurate information noted on your insurance application will insure that you, your family, beneficiary, home or car will always be covered.

How many of us occasionally make the quick pause or yield at stop signs. I made that mistake yesterday as a come up to a four-way stop on two roads that hardly get traveled. As I came up to the sign I did the “pause roll” move as I turned left. While turning left sitting under a tree was a cycle cop shaking his head at me. I saw him start his bike as I drove by so I knew I was getting a ticket for my mistake. I went a head and pulled over and sure enough he came behind me, parked his bike and walked up to my window. You know what comes next. “Do you know why I pulled you over?” I replied, “Because I yeild at stop signs…” A small chuckle comes from the officer as he requests my insurance and registration and continued with the citation process. Whether you fully run through a stop sign or mildly yield, if cited you’ll get 2 points on your record in the state of Arizona. This may be different in other areas. Since I havent took the safety driving course in over two years, I have the opportunity to take the class to avoid points added to my record. Although I’ll escape with no points and no increase in my insurance rates, this mistake will easily cost over $200 in court and couse fees.

With every change in life you face, make sure to ask yourself, “Am I protected?”. One major focus on this website is to help people, like you and me, maintain financial stability. One way is to help customers save more on insurance costs, hence “low-insurance.org”, and the other way is to make sure the insurance we choose properly protects us from any financial hardship that being uninsured/underinsured can cause. We must remember, Insurance is like our “body armor” to our setbacks in life.

.

Example Setback:

.

Your son or daughter has been accepted to college. Your thrilled for their success and cosign for them to get a studio apartment just a couple blocks away from the school. One Saturday night comes along and what time is it? Party time. The party gets a little out of control, a fight breaks out and someone’s kid catches a right hook. This puts the kid in the hospital for months. The student must of fell off the balcony or something. A lawsuit follows. Being the parent and the cosigner of the apartment, you find yourself being sued for 80,000. How prepared were you for this battle.

.

There are going to be many times in life where it may be wise to determine whether an additional insurance policy is something to look into. Whether you buy a new car, an above ground pool, a collection of rare art or even a territorial dog take a minute and weigh out the risks. Depending on the risk, you may want to consider enrolling into an insurance coverage to protect you financially.
