Hi my name is Cole Sileven and I am the Author
and Developer for the Low Insurance and Security Website.

A little about myself, I am a Husband and Father of three. I live in Tucson, AZ and have been a resident of Arizona since birth. A few years ago I decided to create a forum where I would be able to discuss ideas relating to insurance and personal finance with others.

Believe it, or not, insurance isn’t a subject many people want to talk about all that much and furthermore, there are already other insurance related forums in place. So instead of re-inventing the wheel i decided to take this website another route.

So here’s what I decided to do:

I put myself through several online insurance shopping experiences, forums and books to learn more about insurance, insurance quote systems and saving money. I then transitioned my little “one man” forum to a website where I can share what I’ve learned with others. I didn’t stop there. I also put myself through some additional training and earned my insurance license in order to increase my understanding of the industry. At one point I even took up an Agents position and was able to learn more from an Agents perspective.

Through these experiences I continued in my effort to turn this website it to one of the best insurance shopping resources online. I have also constructed this website to give visitors who stop by a variety of tools and resources to use in order to get lower insurance rates. Shoppers who use low-insurance.org have more control of the type of comparison quote they would like to receive. While some systems provide side-by-side quotes online, others submit the quote request to several local Agents for local comparison shopping. Both systems have their advantages and we give you the opportunity to choose between both of these options.
